RMI Buys All Clark Door North America Rights

Production of patented walk-in cooler and freezer doors to begin immediately

Los Angeles, California…..Refrigerator Manufacturers, LLC. (“RMI”), a long-established designer and producer of premium walk-in coolers and freezers for commercial, hospitality and industrial facilities, is proud to announce that it has acquired all of the intellectual property rights for Clark Door activities in North America.

RMI now owns all patents, license agreements, designs and trademarks for Clark Doors in the U.S. and Canada.  RMI will begin production of this globally recognized and highly respected brand in its new facility located in Cerritos, California.  

Immediately, RMI will undertake a major marketing and information program to ensure that all North American contractors handling low temperature equipment purchase and installation quality are made aware of our commitment to be a reliable producer and supplier of high specification Clark Doors.

Over the last three years, Clark Door product rights for this market were owned by another firm which engaged in only limited manufacturing of coolers and doors.

Clark Door Company was a pioneer, beginning 130 years ago, in the manufacture of specialty doors for walk-in coolers and freezers.  The company was the first to incorporate polyurethane insulation into their products and by the mid-1960s Clark Door had established national and international operations. During the1990s, these various operations were acquired by local owners.

The quality of materials and workmanship put into every Clark Door will be consistent with the high standards that RMI has been known for over 60 years.

RMI will be manufacturing and selling Clark branded doors and welcome interested Sales Representatives for exclusive sale territories. Our determination to re-gain market share for Clark Doors will ensure that we are competitive priced.
